About the OG Deck Mat™
The OG Deck Mat™ is made from EVA foam—short for ethylene-vinyl acetate—a lightweight, cushioned material commonly used in marine and outdoor products.
It is non-toxic, water-resistant, quick-drying, and built to handle outdoor marine adventures better than a traditional fabric dog bed. The ribbed top surface helps provide grip and water drainage, while the dotted underside helps keep the mat in place on many types of boat flooring.
The OG Deck Mat™ measures approximately 31.5 inches by 31.5 inches and is approximately 1.6 inches thick.
It is designed as a roomy personal landing pad for dogs of many sizes. For pups who prefer to stretch all the way out—or households with more than one first mate—you may want to consider more than one mat.

Grip, Water & Safety
The OG Deck Mat™ is made for splashy paws, dock drips, lake days, and the enthusiastic post-swim shake. The textured water-resistant EVA foam is designed to offer more traction for paws than smooth fiberglass, wood, or other hard surfaces. The dotted underside also helps the mat sit more securely on flat, stable surfaces.
It is a loose mat—not a permanently adhered deck surface. Secure or reposition it as needed in especially wet, windy, rough, or high-motion conditions.
No. The OG Deck Mat™ is not a safety device! It is made to be your dog’s comfortable spot on the boat, dock, or other stable outdoor surface. Dogs should always be supervised around water and wear a properly fitted canine life jacket while boating or near open water.
Please do not intentionally place your dog on the mat in open water, use it for water entry or exit, tow it behind a boat, or rely on it to keep your dog afloat in any situation.
EVA foam does float and may support a dog on the water’s surface for a short period of time. However, it is NOT designed, tested, or intended to be used as a flotation device, dog raft, swim platform, rescue tool, ramp, restraint, or safety device.

Normal use, claws, wet paws, and general pet chaos are expected. Aggressive chewing, digging, sharp objects, dragging across rough surfaces, or prolonged exposure to harsh conditions may damage the mat. Please supervise dogs who are known chewers or determined interior designers.

For everyday care, rinse with fresh water to remove dirt, sand, mud, or salt, then towel off or allow it to air-dry before storing. For a deeper clean, use mild soap, water, and a soft cloth or brush.
Avoid bleach, harsh solvents, abrasive scrubbers, and high heat. These can be harmful to your furry family members and may damage the EVA foam over time.
Store your mat dry and out of prolonged direct sun when it is not in use. The OG Deck Mat™ is intentionally low-maintenance: just a little post-adventure TLC goes a long way.
